We introduced the 3-Layer System™ in the early 1970's, and it's still the optimal way to stay dry, wamr and comfortable when facing the elements. The 3-Layer System™
is as logical as it is functional. The most crucial aspect of being outdoors is to stay dry - always use a baselayer. To preserve body heat so you stay warm and comfortable, you'll need a thermal layer. Finally, to keep the heat in and teh elements out, you wear a protective outerlayer.
BASELAYER
Our baselayers are the starting point for the best moisture management system in any condition. When you work hard and get warm, heat stealing moisture build-up is your worst enemy. The baselayer works as a second, more effective skin - maintaining a dry layer close to the body.
- HH Warm Mens Womens

- HH Dry Mens Womens

Thermal layer
The thermal layer keeps you warm and comfortable. It's your insulation and safeguard in cold conditions. At the same time, it's the second stage of the moisture movement to the outer layer. Varying and adjusting your thermal layer keeps your body at an optimal temperature.
