No Saturday deliveries. 2nd and Next Day Air orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will not be processed until the following Monday. All orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada will ship 2nd day air. UPS cannot not ship to PO Boxes.

- Please allow for up to 3 days processing time on all orders.*
- Orders placed after 9pm EST will not be processed until the following business day.
- Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will not be processed until the following Monday.

All returned garments must be washed prior to their return or they cannot be inspected. Customers should enclose a note specifying the warranty problem and / or the location of the problem on the garment, as well as list specifics regarding style, color and size. The Return Authorization number should be written in large letters on the outside of the package.
The Helly Hansen Warranty Department will inspect the product at no charge to you. If the Warranty Department determines, in its sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Warranty, we will repair or replace it within approximately four weeks. If the defective garment is not repairable and an identical product is not available, we will replace it with a garment of comparable style and color at our discretion.
Product Return Policy
All sale items are final sale and are available for in stock items only. We regularly update our website; however, some sizes and/or colors may not be in stock.
All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by cash register receipts.
We gladly refund cash or credit on unused merchandise within 14 days of purchase with cash register receipt. Products must have original hang tags, must be new and not worn.
We will make exchanges of unused merchandise within 30 days of purchase with cash register receipt. Products must have original hang tags, must be new and not worn.
Storewide sales do not apply to gift certificates, previously purchased merchandise, special orders, and items that have already been marked down. Coupons and promotions cannot be combined with sale items and storewide sales.
Helly Hansen Merchandise which has been purchased at any other Helly Hansen store may be exchanged or returned following the same policy as in store purchases. Sunglasses and Goggles cannot be returned or exchanged.
Holiday Return Policy
All purchases [excluding sale items and other non returnable items] made between Thanksgiving and New Year’s are returnable and/or exchangeable for up to 7 [seven] days after New Year\'s.
Custom Orders Return Policy
All custom orders (i.e. bulk/embroidered) are final sale, are non-refundable and may not be returned or exchanged. You have two ways to return or exchange your online purchase:
- Print out the merchandise return request form.
Mail the product back with the completed return form. Please include the invoice
number. All returns must be accompanied with proof of purchase/invoice. Please
allow 14 business days from the day you return your package for your return
to be credited or exchange made. Be sure to include your name, address and daytime
phone number.

Million Mile Guarantee
Anyone willing to take on the Helly Hansen challenge? Since we began making
outdoor clothing in 1877 our products have traveled all over the world testing
both themselves and their owners to the limit. During that time they\'ve visited
the very ends of the earth including Everest and both the North and South Poles.
In all that time and distance we\'ve stood behind every product we\'ve made.
Today that tradition remains unbroken.
If a Helly Hansen product ever fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship
we will either repair it, without charge, or provide a replacement. As your
satisfaction is our goal we will also endeavor to ensure our service matches

Helly Hansen Merchandise
Our products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials
and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If a product has a manufacturing
defect, we will either repair it or replace it at our discretion. This policy
is valid for product purchased from any authorized Helly Hansen store or
dealer. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper care,
normal wear and tear and the natural breakdown of materials over extended
use and time. Rips and tears as a result of improper care are not covered
by this warranty. Our turn around time is normally 3 – 4 weeks from the time
we receive your product. We will do our best to get it back to you sooner.
Helly Hansen Footwear
Helly Hansen footwear is covered up to 1 year against defects in materials and workmanship. This policy does not cover normal wear and tear on the product.
Helly Hansen’s Care Instructions
Base Layer
For best results wash HH Dry and HH Cool in warm water with a mild detergent and hang to dry. For HH Warm, wash in cool water with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Keep away from all heat sources.
Fleece
Wash in warm water with mild detergent. Best to hang dry. Tumble drying puts unnecessary wear and tear on garment and causes premature pilling. Do not dry clean or iron. Best to wash your synthetic clothing together (polypropylenes, polyesters, nylons, etc) so lint does not build up on it during washing.
Helly Tech & other Shells
Wash in warm water with a technical wash product. Secure all Velcro® adjustments, zip up all zippers including main zipper and adjust all draw cords to minimize ability to tangle around wash machine agitator. Do not use fabric softener as it breaks down Helly Tech. Tumble dry on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Do not dry clean or iron. For best performance, keep your jacket clean and tumble dry to re-activate the outer water repellency for improved performance. You will need to apply an after market water repellency treatment as required.
Recommended products:
Granger’s G-Wash Cleaner Plus and Grangers Wash-In Waterproofing for Synthetics – available at Helly Hansen stores and most major specialty outdoor sporting goods stores.
Footwear
Leather – Salt is leathers worst enemy! After being exposed to salt, clean with a brush or wet sponge as soon as possible to maintain the integrity of the product. Dry the shoes with a dry cloth to absorb moisture. Never dry in unnatural conditions or direct sunlight. Apply an oil based, neutral leather cream to the shoes, in order to retain the value of the grain. Do a patch test in a discrete area before applying all over. If discoloration occurs, remove cream immediately.
Synthetic – Wash away any stains with water and a brush. Some synthetics can be washed in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius (refer to the care instructions provided in the box). Dry shoes at room temperature using paper to absorb moisture. Never use a dryer.
Warranty Return Procedure

Helly Hansen will guarantee that all garments dropped off to a Helly Hansen store or Dealer that are covered under the warranty policy will be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
Consumer’s Role
In addition to using the garment for its intended purpose, the consumer needs to follow a few simple care instructions.
- Follow the washing instructions and clean the garment regularly to maintain the quality of the product.
- Re-activate the outer water repellency on waterproof/breathable garments as needed.
- All garments MUST be washed before submitting for warranty. All unwashed garments will be returned un-repaired.
Failure to follow the proper care instruction will void the warranty.
How to Process a Return
- Please have all pertinent information ready before you call – your dealer account number, product style number, color, size, and reason for the return.
- Call your Customer Service Representative at 1-800-435-5901, explain the problem and get a return authorization (RA) number. If the garment is obviously covered under warranty, you will be asked to send the product to one of our repair centers listed below. If warranty coverage is questionable, you will be asked to send the garment in for inspection. If the garment is not covered under our warranty, our Returns Coordinator will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your package and you will have the option to have it repaired for a reasonable charge.
- Mark the affected area(s) of the garment with colored tape or masking tape and enclose a short note identifying the problem(s).
- Clearly write your Return Authorization (RA) number on the outside of the carton, otherwise your shipment will be refused. Please keep your RA number on file for future reference.
- Packages must be sent prepaid. Collect/COD shipments will be refused. Please keep the tracking number for future reference. Repaired or replacement garment will be returned at our expense.
